Cold Stability Accelerator (CSA)

The Cold Stability Accelerator (CSA) measures directly the influence of cryopreservatives at low temperatures, avoiding the uncertainty of predictions made from high temperature modelling data.
Imposing isochoric conditions with stainless-steel vials, limits volume expansion, preventing the ice growth. This enables to run isothermal stability studies below 0 ºC, without freezing the samples.
